前回の北海道は札幌には寄らずに旭川や旭川層雲峡宿、宗谷岬、網走などの北海道東岸を周ったので今回はそれ以外の場所を訪れたい。
Last time I went to Hokkaido, I didn't stop in Sapporo and instead traveled around the east coast of Hokkaido, including Asahikawa, Asahikawa Sounkyo-juku, Cape Soya, and Abashiri, so this time I would like to visit other places.

2025/9/2(火Tue)　とりあえず新千歳空港に行く伊丹からの便に乗る On the way to Chitose airport via Itami and Haneda.

	伊丹に行くのに今日は京阪電車のなぜか準急に乗ってます。枚方駅まで特急で行けば早いのに知らなかった。 To my destination Itami airport but for some reason, I'm taking the semi-express train on the Keihan Railway today. I didn't know it would be faster to take the express train to Hirakata Station.
	京阪門真市駅からモノレールに乗った、伊丹空港まで13駅38分掛るって運転手兼車掌が言っていたワンマンカー。 I took the monorail from Keihan Kadoma City Station, a one-man car that the driver and conductor said that this rute has 13 station it would take 38 minutes to Itami Airport.

	東京乗り換え新千歳便なので取りあえず羽田までの便、間に合った。この便は東京からの折り返し便なので羽田が混んでいると出発が遅れ、ここでの出発も遅れるので我々の次の乗り継ぎに乗り遅れる事になりかねない8～10時出発便は要注意なのだ、さもなくば東京での乗り継ぎにたっぷりの時間を取っておこう。国際線乗り継ぎにはたっぷり取っている。
As it was a flight to New Chitose Airport with a transfer in Tokyo, we managed to make it to Haneda in time. This flight was a return flight from Tokyo, so if Haneda was crowded the departure would be delayed and the departure here would also be delayed, which could mean missing our next connection, so be careful of flights departing between 8am and 10am; otherwise, make sure you leave plenty of time for your connecting flight in Tokyo. My style is keep enough time if change international frlight at tokyo even in same airport.

	草地に設置してあるのは着陸航空機進入角度表示灯PresicionPathAngleIndicatorなのだが地上で機器の直ぐ横で見るのは初めて。 The light installed on the grass is a Precision Path Angle Indicator, which indicates the approach angle of landing aircraft. This is the first time I've seen it right next to the device on the ground.
	主翼がこれくらい持ち上がると離陸！ Aircraft will take off when lifted main wings.

	離陸して270度旋回して東京の方角に機体を向けた、これが伊丹空港の全景。手前の滑走路の外側の河原は公園になっていてカメラを持った人が多く待ち構えているらしい。 After taking off and making a 270-degree turn, the plane headed towards Tokyo. This is a panoramic view of Itami Airport. The riverside outside the runway in the foreground is a park where many people with cameras are waiting.

	座席前のスクリーンを機体前方カメラに切り替えてみます。スクリーンに反射してる機内の窓。 I switched the screen in front of my seat to the camera facing the aircraft. The window of the plane was reflected on the screen.

	羽田空港着陸寸前の窓の外、この後は飛行機を降りたら直ぐ近くに次の便の搭乗口に行くゲートがあって、QRコードで簡単に札幌千歳行きの飛行機に乗れた。次に乗ったのは到着した機体の直ぐ隣の飛行機だった。 Outside the window just before landing at Haneda Airport, after getting off the plane, there was a gate nearby to the boarding gate for the next flight, and I was able to easily board a plane to Sapporo Chitose using a QR code. The next plane I boarded was right next to the one that had just arrived.

	千歳空港から札幌市内へはバスと電車があるが差額は30円なので早い電車にした。札幌ビール園のバーベキューテントで食べるラム肉と野菜とソーセージ、久しぶりに飲むビールも最高に美味い。羽田空港から札幌千歳空港に着き、鉄道に乗ったりホテルチェックインやその他に忙しくて写真を撮るのを忘れていた。 There are buses and trains to get from Chitose Airport to Sapporo city, but since the fare difference is only 30 yen, I took the earlier train. The lamb, vegetables, and sausages I ate at the barbecue tent at Sapporo Beer Garden were delicious, as was the beer I hadn't had in a while. I arrived at Sapporo Chitose Airport from Haneda, and was so busy taking the train, checking into the hotel, and other activitys that I forgot to take any photos.

2025/9/3(水）Wed　札幌市内と周辺の観光 Sight seeing Sapporo city and around.

	ANAホテルの朝食、右のコーンフレークにはホイップクリームを乗せたが、この後たっぷりのヨーグルトを乗せる。 At breakfast at the ANA Hotel, the cornflakes on the tray were topped with whipped cream, and add much amount of yogurt which 4 cups of greem and blue and red one.
	ホテルから20分ほど歩いてやってきた。たっぷり食べたのでたっぷり歩こう。気温は20℃前後。 It took about 20 minutes to walk from the hotel. Since I had eaten a lot, I decided to walk a lot.The temperature is around 20℃.
	北海道大学の中は広い、ボストンのハーバードは大学は構内の下を高速道路のような大きな道が走っていたのを思い出す、ここでは道路は地上だけだが大学構内は同じ様に広くて牧歌的な作りになっている。 Hokkaido University is spacious, and it reminds me of Harvard in Boston, where a large highway-like road runs underneath the campus.Here, the road is only above ground, but the campus is similarly spacious and idyllic.
	私ならここでバーベキューしながらビールを飲みそうな雰囲気の大学構内。 The university campus has the kind of atmosphere where I would enjoy a barbecue and a beer.
	大学内の大きな通りは誰でも入れるので観光客も沢山歩いていて、場所により混んでもいた。 The main streets within the university are open to the public, so there were many tourists walking around and it was crowded in some places.
	明治九年1876年、北海道開拓の人材を育成するために札幌農学校が開設され教頭としてアメリカマサチューセッツ農科大学学長ウィリアム・S・クラークが着任した。彼はわずか9か月の滞在中に精力的に農学校の基礎作りに励みキリスト教に基づいた教育は学生たちに大きな影響を与えた。帰国に際し残した”Boys be ambitious”の言葉は今なを深く感銘を与えている。
In 1876, the ninth year of the Meiji era, Sapporo Agricultural College was opened to train human resources for the development of Hokkaido, and William S. Clark, president of Massachusetts Agricultural College in the United States, was appointed as vice principal. During his short nine-month stay, he energetically worked to lay the foundations for the agricultural school, and his Christian-based education had a great impact on the students. His words "Boys be ambitious" when he returned to America still make a deep impression today.
	大学の中は色々な施設があって見られるのだが物理の展示は今日は休館と書いてあった。 There are various facilities inside the university that can be seen, but it said that the physics exhibit was closed today.
	クラーク像は二つあるらしい、もう一つのクラーク氏の像を見るのに地下鉄に乗った。 Apparently there are two Clark statues, so I took the subway to see the other one.
	北海道大学から羊ヶ丘展望台へはバスでないと行けない距離。 The only way to get from Hokkaido University to Hitsujigaoka Observatory is by bus.

	バスを降りて買った入場券、クラーク氏の手の方向に着陸する直前の旅客機が見えてたので丘珠空港に行くことにした。見えてるのは札幌市街。 I bought entrance ticket when I get off bus. The only way to get from Hokkaido University to Hitsujigaoka Observatory is by bus. we find airplane approaching Okadama airport left side.
	札幌市バスだがいくつかの路線がこの羊ケ丘展望台まで来てくれる。修学旅行生が来たら市バスは占拠されるが今日は観光バスで来ていた。でもアイスクリーム販売は占拠された。 Several Sapporo city bus routes go to Hitsujigaoka Observatory. When school trip students come, the city buses are usually taken over, but today they came on a tourist bus. However, the ice cream stand was taken over.
	アイスクリームが買えるまでの間、大きな木の中ほどに黄色く見えたので望遠で撮ったが花ではなく常緑樹も葉を落とす時は黄色になるのだろうか。京都の常緑樹は春になると緑のままで葉を落とす。アイスを食べたので丘珠空港に向かう。 While waiting to buy ice cream, I saw a yellow spot in the middle of a large tree, so I took a picture with a telephoto lens, but I wonder if it's not a flower; evergreen trees also turn yellow when they shed their leaves. Evergreen trees in Kyoto shed their leaves while remaining green in spring. After eating the ice cream, I headed to Okadama Airport.

	再び地下鉄に乗って最寄り駅からバスで5分、でも地下鉄の駅からは歩いてやってきた丘珠空港、ターミナルビルの左横に見つけた北海道航空。 I took the subway again and then a 5-minute bus ride from the nearest station, but then walked from the subway station to Sapporo Okadama local airport, where I found Hokkaido Air service to the left of the terminal building.
	自衛隊以外では北海道航空が報道やその他の用途に使う飛行機もヘリコプターも管理しているようだった。半時間のフライトで8万円現金のみ。 Outside of the Self-Defense Forces, Hokkaido Airlines seems to manage planes and helicopters used for reporting and other purposes. Only 80,000 yen in cash for a half-hour flight.
	今日はエアロスパシアルA350ジェットエンジンのヘリコプター後ろ席は4人掛け。京セラの稲盛氏はA350を会社で買った、会社で使わないときはチャーターフライトに貸し出ししていたがそれだけで利益がでたそうな。 Today we saw an Aerospatiale A350 jet-engine helicopter with four seats in the back. Kyocera's CEO　Inamori bought the A350 for his company, and when it wasn't being used by the company, rented it out for charter flights, which apparently made a profit.
	機内にいるパイロットは小山さん。二人乗りの機体に比べるとデカい。チャーター代金はエンジンを掛けてから着陸しエンジンをシャットダウンするまで。従って実際のフライトは20分ほど。 The pilot on board is Mr. Koyama. It's huge compared to a two-seater aircraft. The charter fee covers the time from starting the engines to landing and shutting down the engines. Therefore, the actual flight time is about 20 minutes.

	ホテルの窓からの景色、札幌の町は比較的新しい時代に計画して作った町、ラスベガスのように通りは何車線もある。ラスベガスにあった横断陸橋はビルの横は二階建ての歩道になっていて二階にもビルに入る入口があったが札幌では道路を横断するだけ。 View from my room, Sapporo is a relatively new city, and like Las Vegas, it has many lanes of road. The overpasses in Las Vegas had two-story walkways next to the buildings, and there were entrances to the buildings on the second floor, but in Sapporo, you just cross the road.

	これはテレビ塔のある大通りではないのだが、縦の通りも横の通りも多くの車線がある。 This is not a major street with a TV tower, but it has many lanes both vertically and horizontally.

	夜はすすき野に出てきました。 We came out Susukino area for dinner.

	夕食は何が良いか、適切な店で極端に混んでない場所を探すのはネットで検索してもなかなか難しい。 Even when searching online, it can be quite difficult to find a suitable restaurant for dinner that isn't extremely crowded.

	食べるのが先で写真を撮るのに気付くのが遅すぎた。G4ビル6F海乃四季すすきの店。今日の夕食も満足で大正解！ I was too late to realize that I should be eating first and taking photos. Uminoshiki Susukino store on the 6th floor of the G4 Building. Today's dinner was also satisfying, so it was a great choice!

2025/9/4(木）Thu　今日は余市から神威岬に行く。ツアーバスは前日に予約した。
Today I'm going to Cape Kamui from Yoichi. I booked the tour bus the day before.

	今日も朝食はサラダとコーンフレークにヨーグルト。 Today's breakfast was salad, cornflakes and yogurt.
	神威岬に行くツアーバスがあるので予約して札幌駅の北側のバスターミナルに向かっています。 There is a tour bus that goes to Cape Kamui, so I made a reservation and headed to the bus terminal north of Sapporo Station.
	サッポロは綺麗なビルが多い。 Sapporo has many beautiful buildings.
	ツアーバスは走り出した、ガイドは五十代英語は片言のみ、日本語のみ運転手も女性だった。今日の客は41人、日本人と欧米人と台湾の人、インド人のカップルもいた二人ではヒンドゥ語で話すので解らないが英語も日本語もできる。 The tour bus started moving. The guide was in around fifties and only spoke Japanese.and little bit english The driver was also a woman. There were 41 guests today, including Japanese, Westerners, Taiwanese, and an Indian couple. while they spoke Hindi, I couldn't understand them, but they could speak English and Japanese too.
	バスは余市や小樽に行く高速道路を走る。 Bus driving expressway to Yoiti and Otaru.
	NHK朝ドラの「まっさん」のニッカウヰスキー、ここでイだけが漢字になっているのは井戸水を使っている事を表したくてウィスキーをウヰスキーとしたとバスガイドが言っていた。 The bus guide said that the reason why only the "i" in the NHK morning drama "Massan" is written in kanji is because it is made to show that the water used is well water, and that is why it is written as "wiski" instead of "whisky."Massan is story who established Nikka Wisky married english woman.
	途中の休憩所で案内があった宇宙桜。日本人初のスペースシャトル宇宙飛行士・毛利衛さんが2000年2月に、二度目の宇宙飛行を行うにあたり、スペースシャトル内に積み込みできる搭乗記念品の一つとしてエンデバー号に搭載された「エゾヤマザクラ」の種を育てたものです。毎年4月下旬から5月上旬に開花し見ごろを迎えます。
We were introduced to the Space Cherry Blossoms at a rest area along the way. They were grown from seeds of the Siberian wild cherry tree, which were placed on board the Space Shuttle Endeavour as a souvenir for Mamoru Mohri, the first Japanese space shuttle astronaut, on his second space flight in February 2000. They bloom from late April to early May every year, reaching their peak viewing season.
	建物もあったので入ったが入場料を払ってまで見る時間がなかったので写真に撮るだけにした。毛利衛宇宙飛行士（余市町出身）1985年に日本人初宇宙飛行士に選抜される。1992年に宇宙実験と2000年に地球観測ミッションを行う、2003年には深海探査艇「しんかい6500」に搭乗、また二度の南極探査により地球環境観測。現在は全国科学関連系協会会長、日本の最先端の科学技術の普及と研究者の育成に努めている。
There was a building, so I went in, but I didn't have time to look around and pay the admission fee, so I just took some photos. Astronaut Mohri Mamoru (from Yoichi Town) was selected as the first Japanese astronaut in 1985. He conducted a space experiment in 1992 and an Earth observation mission in 2000, and in 2003 he boarded the deep-sea exploration vessel Shinkai 6500, and also conducted two Antarctic expeditions to observe the global environment. He is currently the chairman of a national science-related association, and is working to promote Japan's cutting-edge science and technology and to train researchers.
	やっと海が見えてきた。 First time we see sea in this trip in Hokkaido.

	途中の岬を抜けるトンネルは明治時代に掘った歩行者しか行けないもの、大正時代に掘った大型車一台分の幅のトンネル、現代使用している歩道の付いた大型バスが離合できるトンネルの場所や穴を説明してくれた。 she explained the locations and holes of the tunnels that pass through the cape along the way, which were dug in the Meiji era and are only accessible to pedestrians, the tunnels dug in the Taisho era that are wide enough for one large vehicle, and the tunnels that are used today with wide sidewalks and allow large buses to pass each other.

	ここに来るのが今回の旅の目的の一つ。 This was one of main purpos to visit Hokkaido trip.

	今日は風がないので暑い。 Little hot if no wind today.
	風を感じる所ではゆっくり休憩して写真を撮る。 While feel some of breez I stop and rest for taking picture.
	このまだ先まで行けそうなので私は行く！！バスを降りてから20分程も歩く。 Still we can walk till end of the cape . already I am walking 20 minutes after got off bus.

	こんな岬の灯台の横にある船舶用のレーダーは機能して回転を続けていた、ここまで太い蛇腹の電力線などが設置してあった。神威岬の先端部。 The marine radar next to the lighthouse on this cape was still functioning and rotating, and thick, accordion-shaped power lines had been installed up to this point. This is the tip of Cape Kamui.
	女人禁制にしたのは漁師の男たちは行ったきりにならないようにだとか？北海道庁が明治21年1888年から6年間にわたって20基の灯台を建設した最初の灯台、1888年8月25日に初点灯しました北海道に現存する灯台では5番目に古いものです。
Apparently the reason women were not allowed inside was to prevent the male fishermen will come back and never leaving away. This was the first of 20 lighthouses constructed by the Hokkaido Prefectural Government over a six-year period starting in 1888 (Meiji 21), and it was first lit on August 25, 1888, making it the fifth-oldest lighthouse still standing in Hokkaido. ここにいます Now we are here
	これも火山のマグマの部分だけが侵食されずに残っているのだろう。 This is probably because only the magma part of the volcano has remained uneroded.

	ここは風が程よくあった。 I felt nice wind here and stopped.

	駐車場に戻ってきた。バスが出るまでに時間があったのでミントとバニラのソフトクリーム。この後20分程で昼食の温泉宿、でも今日は温泉には入れない。 We get back parking then I had time before the bus left, so we got a mint and vanilla soft serve ice cream. we will go to lunch by bus about 20 minutes away after Ice cream to the hot spring inn where I would have lunch, but I couldn't go into the hot springs today it is not scheduled..

	このツアー代金に含まれているのはこの海鮮丼、美味しかった。ここでは外国人女性労働者の手伝いが多かった。 This seafood bowl lunch was included in the tour price and was delicious. There were many foreign female workers helping out here.

	.トンネルを抜けると皆さん思い思いに・・・でもバスガイドは既に戻っていったので私も直ぐに戻る。次は船に乗って海中を見るらしい。 Once we got out of the tunnel, everyone went off to their own ways... but the bus guide had already gone back, so I headed back as well. Next, we were apparently going to board a boat to see underwater.

	これが今日のツアーバス This is our tour bus today.
	バスに戻って15分ほど走ると次の目的の港に着いた、この船は海の中をガラスで見られるそうな、別料金。 We got back on the bus and drove for about 15 minutes to our next destination, the port. Apparently this boat allows you to see into the ocean through glass windows, but this costs extra.
	バスのツアー客以外に数人の個人客がいた。 In addition to the bus tour group, there were several individual tourists.
	船はこの島の周りを巡る。 We crouse around this small island.
	海中の黒いのはウニ、ここでは小さな魚しか見えなかった。 The black things in the sea are sea urchins, and all I could see here were small fish.
	あちこちに洞窟が。 Many of cave around this area.
	この辺りは洞窟がたくさん。 Many cave not only in the sea.
	この船はビニールテントの屋根があって雨でも運航できるようにしてある。 This ship equipped vinil roof prepae rainy day.
	バスはこの後は小樽市を経由して札幌に戻るが私たちは小樽で降りて宿泊。 After here tour bus going back Sapporo city via Otaru, we will get of and stay in Otaru tonight.

	昼食が終わってバスに乗って次の目的地にやってきた島ぶい海岸。 Finished lunch and take bus again, arrived next destination.Shimamui sea shore
	右の道は下の写真のトンネルに続く、お金は誰も払っていなかった。 The path to the right leads to the tunnel in the photo below, where no one paid.

	この先で明かりが全くないトンネルは10ｍ程だけ真っ暗な中をスマホの明かりで通る。 Up ahead there is no light at all in the tunnel, and I have to walk through pitch black darkness for about 10 meters using the light from my smartphone

	ここでは取り立てて奇岩は見えなかった。 Nothing special at this point.


	さすがにジェット機早い。 Jet plane is faster
