very early morning still dark outside someone pick me up to get on bus
, passenger waiting othere passenger long time until full seat .
バスに乗った,
バハルガンジーのホテルＫＵＭＡＲ ＰＬＡＣＥ、私の居たのは３１１号室だから日本の２階が１Ｆなので３１１は４階の右上の窓。
入り口は右下のＰＡＬの文字の下。

バスが町から離れてしばらくすると田舎の景色が見えるようになってきた。
factory or big company 大企業の工場もある。
many small town, traffic light did not function, no electric? or malfunction?
小さな町も沢山ある。交通信号は壊れてるの？電気がないだけなの？信号はあっても点灯してるのは見かけない。小さな町のバスターミナル。
get off this bus, take a break half hour,
途中のドライブイン休憩、半時間ほど休憩、私の乗ったバス、
これでクラクションならしながら時速１００ｋｍ程で精一杯飛ばす、
車体を見たら結構ボロ。
Passenger many foreigner get off, but similar bus parking I have to memorize
my bus.
外国人旅行者も大勢降りてきます。
バスは何台も止まるから自分のバスを忘れないように。

時間のある旅なら座ってゆっくりしたい。
wrap fried vegetable or eggs by chapathi, but I can not eat this.
油で揚げたものや野菜などを包んでくれるが、私は食べられそうに無い。食べたらお腹を壊すだけ。
3 people in front, 4-6people middle, 3 in rear?
どう考えても１０人以上乗っている。
前に３人、真ん中に４〜６人、後ろに３人？。
engine driven car when start business engine power change connect to squeeze
machine, carry sugarcane stem, squeeze sugarcane juice to glass, white
plastic is water for wash glass but everything is dirty so I did not ask
price.
エンジンで自走するサトウキビ絞り汁を飲ませる屋台。
営業中はギアを切り替えて動力は絞り機に、グラス一杯で７ルピー＝￥１４。
グラスは汚れていたので飲む気にならなかった。
飲んだ後は白いポリバケツの水でグラスを洗って次の客に。
畑で見るサトウキビの葉を落とし、芯のみ。
サトウキビ芯の長いのは青竹のように向こう側に束ねてある。
長いの１本でグラス一杯分の汁が取れるのか？
Start his business , sound diesel single cylinder engine, change gear to
squeeze machine and wait customer,
単気筒ディーゼルか昔の焼玉エンジンの音がしていた。
ギアを切り替えて営業中。
長いサトウキビは束ねて向こう側に、短いのは下の台に載せている。
bus start again, this is toll gate. バスは走り出した、ありました料金所。
they have gate and wall around house.
民家なのか塀がめぐらせてある広い敷地。
arrive next town, I saw many boys but very few girl but this area population
50/50 man and woman. I saw equipped traffic light in many town but almost
no function.
デリーの町では人間は男しか見えなかったがこの辺りでは大人も男女数は均等に近い。
どの街にも信号は設置されてるが、実際に点灯して動作してるのはめったに見ない。
4 hour from Delhi, I don't know place where I am,
I did not have map.
デリーを出て４時間ほどの町、地図を持たなかったが持っていても町の名前は書いてないし乗客も英語が話せる人がいないので現在位置が判らない。
traffic speed more than 100km at middle of road lie down cows,
I feel our bus drive more than 140km/h, bus suddenly drive
slow and avoid something passed away and lot of blood on the road,
バスが時速１００ｋｍ以上で走るのに中央の緑地帯では牛が・・・。
緑地帯（日本でいう安全地帯）と言っても段差は殆んど無い
３時間程の道中で走っている車が大きく迂回して車に轢かれた
大きな動物を避けていた。
どんな動物かは見えなかったが道路に多量の血と横たわった何かが。
人間でない事を祈りたい。

思わず写真機を構えるような建物が道中にある。
学校なのか、何か判らない。
toll-gate, not free way,でも料金所があるから有料道路なのだ、
高速道路ではないかも知れないが。
でもバスはすっ飛ばして走るが・・・。
get on 3 to 4 hour bus trip but distance between Delhi and Agra is near
on map.
This country is very big, can not compare Japan.
長い時間バスに乗ったが地図で見るとNEW-DELHIとAGRAは直ぐ近く、
日本とは比べ物にならないくらいでかいのだ。

有料道路なのに耕運機に農作物を沢山乗せて
連れている牛の歩きに合わせて走ってる。
arrive Agra change autorikisha, he is driver but he can not read and write
english, but he can listen and speak english. his name is Naty but he can
not write his name.
Rear miller locate inside of car then driver able to see passenger and
outside both.
Driver use hand when turn signal instead of not equipped turn signal light.
アグラの町に着いたらバス停の近くにいたオートリキシャに。
見覚えのある顔だと思ったが、ポーランドの連帯のワレサ委員長を思い出す。
４０歳で独身と言っていたが、文盲で自分の名前のNATYナーティと僅か４文字の英語が書けなかった。
ミラーは外にあるとぶつかるので中に、これで客の顔も見えて後ろの車も見る。
ウインカーは無く、手を出して曲がって行く。
Naty ask to go in fort Agra , they have various entrance ticket such as
foreigner, India living overseas, foreigner living India, native India,
etc, price foreigner is 10 times expensive native Indian.
ナーティを待たせてアグラ城砦へ。
入場料はインドでは何種類にも分かれてる。
現地人、海外在住インド人、現地在住外国人、外国人、等など
現地人に比べて外国人入場料は１０倍くらいする。

城の外側は堀がめぐらせてある、窓のあるところに行けば堀も見える。
see moat around this fort , we can see Tajimahal over there.
堀も見えるが遠くにタージマハルが見える、明日の朝に行こう。
no water in moat, Tajimahal is other side of river.
ここでは水の無い空堀が見える。遠くにタージマハルが見える。
このあとタージマハルの川の対岸の左手に行くことに。
nice view to Tajimahal , people will not go out from window.

we cross iron bridge narrow road many traffic ,

some of tomb , river water is not clean many trash flow.
タージマハルが水面に写ると美しいが川の水は澄んでないしゴミも流れていて汚い。

Tajimahal from river is behind , black one in the river is cows enjoying
water in river . on the way to here, English man walking, Naty ask"get
on my friend" he get on my car , his name is Mike age around 50 come
from south of London , he stay 200rupee\400/night guest house his trip
schedule 45 days in India. when he leave my car he paid small money 50rupi
as tip , I have to study his behavior.
ージマハルの背面側を川の対岸から見る。
季節によっては午前中はこの川による霧で見えない事もあるそうな。
川の中で黒いのは休浴してる牛の群れ。
Driver find me cheap accommodation, when I check in , I wanted ask security box, but I did not ask, because
I felt security box is not safe, I read atmosphere,
I asked hot shower before check in but no hot water, so I complaint then they ask me "how much water do you need" I said lot of water like full of bucket,
then they bring full of bucket of hot water carrying to 3rd floor room , I surprised.
チェックイン時に貴重品を預ける金庫があるか聞こうとしたが、彼らの雰囲気を見てやめた。
例え金庫があっても、それが信用できないと感じたから。
お湯のシャワーが付いてると言ってたのにシャワーを浴びる時にお湯が出なかった。クレームをつけたら「どれくらいいるか」と聞いてきたので沢山要ると言う意味で「バケツにいっぱい要る」と言ったら３階までバケツに入ったお湯を持ってきた。まいった負けた。
I stay 500rupee\1000- with hot shower and TV, but hot water did not come
out, I complaint to them , they ask me "how much do you need hot water"
I answered "one all bucket of hot water" meaning hot water is
necessary while I take a shower ,but they bring up hot water in one bucket
of hot water to my room 3rd floor , after shower go down to restaurant
1st floor, waitress bring menu and said, we can make everything and if
necessary explanation don't hesitate asking. inside 50 chair 10 table 1electric
light in the corner of room, I decide to go out to eat.
この日のホテル１泊５００ルピー=\1000-、私の部屋は三階のバルコニー横。 ５０席くらいのレストランが一階にあるが、夕方は客もなし蛍光灯が一つぽつんと点いてるだけ、食べに入ると暗い厨房から男が一人出てきて「何でも作れる」と文字ばかりのメニューを持ってきた。ヒンドゥ語と英語で説明があるが説明が判らない。
「判らなければ聞いてくれ」と言ってたが、「前回客が入って注文した料理を作ったのは何日前だ」と聞きたくなった。ここで食べるのを止めて外に出ることにした。でも宿泊の客はそれなりにあるようで周りの部屋からは話し声が聞こえてきた。

when I go out of hotel to find open air eat shop he find and talk to me,
he studied Japanese in university, he is working HIS Japanese agency Delhi
office named NaveenMadan, he give me advice what I should eat for dinner,
and he took me restaurant , so I invite him to my dinner with me , he said
"usually Japanese people will not walk alone at this time around here
you are strange", it is better not walk after dark outside.
夕食にホテルから出た時に声を掛けてくれ街角で知り合ったHIS社員でガイドのNAVEEN
MADAN（ナヴィーン・マダン）、大学で日本語を勉強して日本の旅行会社ＨＩＳに就職した。
屋台を見ていた私は何を食べてよいのか困っていたのでレストランを紹介してくれ食事に招待したがチップは彼が払ってくれた。
３０歳でもお腹がポッコリ、忙しすぎて運動する時間が無いと嘆いていた。
暗くなってからアグラの町を一人で歩いている日本人は他に居ないよ変人だよと言われてしまった。
この国では暗くなってからは一人で出歩かない方が良さそうだ。

rice is not Japanese rice indica rice is not sticky, in a bowl green one
is boiled spinach , curry taste boiled potato and onions, left side is
boiled vegetable with tomato sauce. this is only chance eat at native restaurant
in this trip. I can not find any available food for japanese in this town
without him,
御飯は少し味がついているがパサパサ、
鉢にはほうれん草の煮物、カレー味のポテトと玉葱の煮物、
トマトソースの利いた煮物などを小さく切ったスープ状の食べ物を薄く焼いたチャパティに乗せて食べる。
この旅で後にも先にも唯一の現地のレストランで食べたインド料理。
I had beer before leave hotel and drink in restaurant again , this all
dinner is 350rupee\700- beer is 600ml \100- I enjoy talk Japanese and English.
I visit with native so this is native price, I guess I should pay 10times expensive if I visit alone.
ビールを飲んでから出てきて再びビール、ナディーンは日本語も出来るので英語と日本語で楽しいひと時。
テーブル上の食事は３５０ルピー￥７００−
キングフィッシャービールは６００ｍｌ、百円ほど。ガイドと行ったので現地人価格、私一人で行っていたら多分10倍価格の請求が来る。
