バックオブチャペル安宿、安くても夜中に到着する場合は歩いて行くにも路を尋ねる人も居ないし結局はタクシーに乗ったのでは高くついた。ドアはメモした番号を入力したら開いて、中に入った、カウンターの上に私の名前「Mr. XXX」と書いた封筒があって説明書きとキーが入っている。宿の中で起きていた人に尋ねてキーの番号と部屋の場所を教えてもらった。　キーは部屋の鍵とロッカーの鍵、1Fと鍵に書いてあったので１階と思ったら、１号室は二階だと、Ｆはその部屋のベッドの番号だと教えてくれた。ここはwifiは使えるようだった。今朝になって明るい所で説明を読めば判るが疲れてたどり着いた私には到底判らなかった。　状況が解らず宿の廊下で寝ようと思っていた私には起きている人がいて幸いだった。昨夜は少々苦労した。タクシーを捜すのにも時間かかったし宿に着いたのは朝の１時半頃だと思う。　Back of Chapel　ここに宿泊 Cheap guest house named Back of chapel, but arrive midnight and not easy to find is not cheap because we need taxi to find it, Last night, this early morning exactly when I get in I find one of envelopes indicated my name and room key, rocker key is in the envelopes which indicate 1F, I couldn't understand 1F I found someone wake up at 1:30 morning I asked meaning 1F, 1 is room number it is 2nd floor and F is bed and rocker number . I thought 1F is first floor, it is not easy to understand for new comer.
	この宿は朝食つきで一泊＄25-パンの間に塗ったのはチョコレートクリームと思ってガブッと食べたら、色はチョコレート色だがオリーブの漬物のペースト。こういう場合でも一口は食べてしまう私だが、期待していた味とは極端に違ったので申し訳ないが皿に戻した。パンの横にある長方形のはクラッカーをサクサクにしたようなパンでフランス人は手で砕いてコーフレークと一緒にして食べていた。もちろんまねをする。 Guest house include breakfast $25/night, chocolate on the bread was not chocolate it was past of olive with vinegar I couldn't eat it.
私のベッドの下の段で寝ていた老人、出て行くときに手伝ってやったが見ると胸にバッジが。エアフォースのバッジだと言うのでパイロットかと尋ねたらそうだと、ビジネスジェットのパイロットをしていたと話してくれた。　彼の予定時間に忙しく出て行くときに彼も話が乗ってきて荷物の中に入っていたタブレット端末を取り出して私に見せてくれる、子供達が小さい時の写真、４人乗り小型機のパイパーアーチャを持っていて3人の子供が大きくなったので６人乗りのチェロキーシックスを買ったと。嫁は数年前に脳溢血で他界して、今はグランドインストラクターをしていると。オーストラリア人でクイーンズランドから来たと、別れ際に「メリークリスマス」と言って出て行った。私はもっと話したかったが私が昨夜ベッドに辿り着いたのは夜中の１時で彼は寝ていて私が起きた8時半には彼は眼を覚ましたところで寝ぼけ眼、声を掛ける機会がなかったのだった。 Old boy sleeping lower bed of me, when he go out I helped him and find some of badge at his breast, it was Airforce one he explained as pilot and show me his own aircraft Piper archer and others while his busy schedule. he is working as grand instructor right now and from queens land Australia, He bought 6 seat big plane Cherokee six when has 3 kids grown up . I wanted to talk more but when I arrive last night he was sleeping and when I wake up 8:30 this morning he only open eyes I did not see badge on his jacket, I don't have enough chance to talk.
	パイロットの老人を送り出して私は地図を持って町に出る。これはチャペル通り、日曜の午前中だから通る人は少ない。この時点では空は曇っていた。 After pilot check out I got map and go out to town, Sunday morning chapel street has no people around here.
	１時間近く歩いただろうか、海が見えてきた。 Walking one hour I can see the sea.
	ペンギンの居る桟橋は何処だ？。 where is penguin livening?
	ここを渡って海岸に出ることにしよう。 Cross street and go to sea.
	海岸はジョギングする人魚釣りをする人、散歩する人、様々。 People fishing and jogging on beach road
	この先がペンギンの居る桟橋になっているようだ。 Penguin living at end of this pier.
	今日は少し風があるので子供達を集めて小さいヨットで操舵の練習をしていた。 Little breeze today they have training school of yacht for children.
	今は引き潮の時間か？。 Low tide at this time?
	海岸のゴミは少ない、あるにはあるのだが。 I saw litter but not many on the beach.
	地図左下のペンギンと書いた白い桟橋道路がここ、どこかにペンギンが居るはず。 Somewhere penguin indicate on map.
	いました、岩の陰にひっそりと隠れています。くちばしと眼が見える。 I find penguin behind locks, I can see eyes and beak.

	この看板が英語と日本語で書いてある。 Indicate plate Japanese and english.

腹が減ってきて時間も昼に近くなったので宿に戻る方向に歩くことに。 I feel hungry, will go back to guest house.
	帰り道、疲れたのでベンチに座って彼らが何をしているか観察。 Having rest on bench observed what they doing.
	若い女性に順に衣装を着せて歩かせ、写真や動画を撮っているようだ。町の中の普通の道路で写真撮影。 change close change young lady walking on grass road taking picture and movies.
	朝の散歩で汗をかいたので宿でシャワーして午後はチャペル通りを散策、旅行者であふれている。私は朝食から6時間程歩き続けてるのでお腹が減った。パン屋でサンドイッチ＄6\540-とコーヒー$2.6\230-。 I had sweat with walking, go back take shower, will walk chapel street after noon. I walk 6 hour today already I feel hungry, lunch is sandwich $$\540- and coffee$2,6\230-
	隣のテーブルは欧米人カップル。走ってる車は80％は日本車。 next table is American or European, car on road is 80% Japanese car.
	チャペル通りから10ｍ程入るとこんな公園がある。けっこうあちこちに小さな公園がある。 10m from big street chapel street, I find small park many times.
	歩きつかれたのでベンチに座って休憩。チャペル通りは観光客が通れない位に歩いているが、ここは別天地 I feel tired,have a rest on the bench, chapel street has lot of tourist but another world here.
	Ｙａｒｒａヤラ川の堤防まで来ました。次の信号はチャペル通りの交差点、右手はヤラ高校がある。60～70代の夫婦が休憩していたので15分程も話しただろうか、こうして話をするオーストラリア人の殆どは日本に行ったことがあると、それも２～３ヶ月滞在した人が多い「お互いに元気でナ」、と別れた。 Arrived Yarra river next traffic signal is chapel street, right side is Yarra high school, couple age 60 to 70 has enjoying here, I talked to them maybe 15 minutes, I had similar chance in Australia, most of Australian had experience to go to Japan and stay few month.
	安宿の室内、左のベッドは上下ともパリから来た20歳くらいの男。部屋は2段ベッドが3台、一人で広い地域を占領して使っている若者、私にはどれが誰の荷物か全く判らないので私の荷物はバックパックから外に出さないで、必要最小限は私のベッドの上に出して使う。 inside of guest house, age around 20's one is from Paris they scattered there stuff, I did not open my bag and use only minimum.
	夕方７時になった宿の近くで良い音が流れていたので思わず入ってビール。 in the evening at 7 I find beer with good music shop near guest house.

	二杯目のビールはアンバービール、スモークサーモンサラダにはもやしとキャベツと、コリアンダーが少し入っていた。コリアンダーは食べにくかったが少しだったので無理して食べる 2nd beer is amber beer, smoke sermon salad include strong smell coriander herb but I eat it all because strong vegetable is only little.
	宿の直ぐ近くにコンビニがあってアイスクリームを食べたくなったので入るとギリシャから移民してきた彼が店番、話がはずんで自己紹介、アレックスと言うと、話は日本は大変だ、尖閣諸島では中国にやられるし、でも中国は他の国でも汚いことは世界中の人が知ってるよ、と話していた。 I wanted to eat ice-cream, find convenience shop near guest house, cashier his name is Alex, immigrant from Greek recently, he said Japan has difficult situation not only nuclear accident also china Russia and Korea appeal on Japanese island.

夜中に腹が減って眼が覚めると思っていたが、この後はベッドにもぐりこんだら朝まで眼が覚めなかった。

I sleep well until morning.


「宿」から「ペンギン」の居る桟橋まで来るのに１時間ほど掛っている3ｋｍ位は歩いた、 AlbartParkLakeの外周の道路では車のレースが行われるコースが路になっている。 I walk 3km one hour from guest house to here,

写真左端の裸の老人の直ぐ横の石の隙間にペンギンは居た、この場所は犬や猫などの動物は連れ込み進入禁止 picture left side behind rock of near naked old man, cat or dog can not take here.
