2010年10月15日（金）　クラクフからアウシュビッツのあるオッシェンチウムの町へ

I looked for bus or train going to Oswiecim to see Auschwitz.
クラクフの町、長距離バスターミナルは駅の裏手にある、長距離で無いのは駅前のあちこちの通りにある

I get this information at bus terminal located other side of railway station.
ツアーの案内もあるが、これは長距離バスターミナルにあった案内、裏はバスの時刻表になっているので今日明日の予定を練ることに

room mate young lady get back very late, they did not wake up early morning today. I wake 7:30am no one in the living room or kitchen.
夜遅くまで昨夜遊びに出ていた同室人の若い女性達は夜が明けてもベッドで夢の中、７時半に起きたがホステルのリビングや食堂には誰も居なかった

	I find one bread and jam in the refrigerator, toast it. breakfast alone, I have to ,make plan today. キッチンにあったパンを焼いて冷蔵庫のブルーベリージャムとコーヒーで一人で朝食、今日の予定と作戦を練る。
	Short while worker old woman appeared "good morning" age of around 70s, she will prepare breakfast, cutting cheese, ham, tomato, vegetables, too. so I get breakfast 2 times. しばらくして調理人が来て新しいパンとハム、チーズ、トマトなどを切って皿に盛ってくれたので朝食を二回食べた。先に食べたのは昨日の残りのようだ。飲み物はセルフで作って行くらしい、７０才代と思われる爺さんも客として何人も泊まっていた。
	TV weather forecast said"no rain today only cloud" so I don't have umbrella today. 宿を出るときには天気予報は曇りで雨は降らないとの事だったので傘は持たずに出かけたのだが・・・。
	Going to Krakow railway station, everybody wear winter cloths. weather is late autumn or early winter. クラクフ駅に向かう旧市街の外側の辺り、晩秋から冬に近く、誰もがコートの襟を立てている。
	I don't have Poland money, I bought ticket by credit card \238- to Oswiecim, platform is cold I wait under plat form. near ticket office find PC connected internet. ポーランド通貨の手持ちが少ないのでカードで切符を買うことに、￥238-、切符売り場のおばさんは英語も話せて電車の時刻などを親切に教えてくれた。オッシェンシウム行きの電車はホームで待つと寒いので階段下のコンコースで待つ、無料でインターネットが使えるようにしてある。
	Train shaking railway in country side I find reason they did not maintenance rail, look this length of screw is not same length, it means nut did not tighten these screw very old train running but it is not only reason.. 田舎の路線はよく揺れる車両だが枕木に止めてあるネジのナットから出た長さがどれも違う、写真にも写ってるがネジが弛んでるのと締ってるのがある証拠。こんな写真は日本では取れないので記念にパチリ。クラクフからは随分古い電車。もちろんゆっくり走るが車両の古さと線路の悪さで大きな揺れが続いた旅だった。
	Arrived Oswiecim in an 1 hour, get off around 50 people they cross railway, no bridge no walk way platform to station. I talked young lady in a train, age around 20s, when she finish school she is planning to live alone, when arrive she said "nice talking to you" beautiful lady. this station has no bridge platform to station building. クラクフから１時間と少しでオッシェンシウム駅に着いた。これからアウシュビッツ記念館にはドナイして行くのやら、とりあえず外に出よう。降りた乗客は５０人ほど。駅舎は新しいがホームから駅舎への通路は特になく、好きな所を線路をまたいで駅舎に行く典型的な田舎の駅だ。クラクフからここまで向かいに座っていたのは２０才位の女性だった。学校が終わったら親元を離れて生活する計画だと話してくれて列車を降りる時に「nice talking to you」と言って分かれたがなかなかのポーランド美人、写真は撮れなかった。
	I don't know the way to Auschwitz, very few people walking around here, according guide book and map only few km from here, may be arrive 1 hour by walk. 駅前のバス停では沢山の人が待っているが、私は急がないので地図や案内を頼りに、通り過ぎる人に何度も尋ねて行く事に。地図を見ても数キロだし一時間歩く気があれば着くだろうと思って歩き出す。でも通り過ぎる人が少なくて困る。
	half hour I feel cold no people walking around here, only house or apartment house, I can not ask anyone. 半時間ほど歩いて寒くなってきた、周りはアパートや普通の家々が立ち並び、本当にこの先にアウシュビッツがあるのかいな？。聞く人も居ない。
	I find Auschwitz around 1 hour, bought ticket \1014- by card, guide tour start at 1pm I wait and have lunch which I made at Mama's hostel, after lunch I met Mr Nakazawa who introduced in Japanese guide book, he is working this country he has licence of guide Auschwitz. 一時間程で何とかアウシュビッツ記念館に着いて中に入る切符を買うのにカードで￥1014-、案内ツアーは１３時半、映画の上映も１３時からだし、私はホステルで作ったパンとハムチーズのサンドを昼食に。この後、地球の歩き方などに乗っていた中澤さんと日本語で五分ほど会話した。彼は翻訳などの仕事もしていて、この記念館の案内人の資格があり今日はこの後で日本人グループと逢って案内すると言っていた。

	Watched movie about Auschwitz, start rain when start guide inside of Auschwitz. provide radio earphone we can listen voice of guide we can leave from guide in 20 or 30m . 15分ほどの強制収用所に関する映画を見て、収容所内を案内するツアーが始まった頃は雨が降り出した。ドイツ語で「働けば自由になれる」と書かれたウソの門を、強制収容所に連れて来られたユダヤ人と同じ門をくぐる。参加者には受信機とヘッドホンが配布されガイドとは少しくらい離れていても説明を聞くことが出来る。
	I ever saw this gate in the TV or news. やはりこの門は寂しげにあるのが合ってる。
	This electric line was active 6000 volt at 2nd world war. 当時は６０００ｖの高電圧が掛かっていた有刺鉄線の囲い。
	Work hard will be free, what they feeling when see this . 「働けば自由になれる」と書いてあるが恨めしく思いながら当時の人々はくぐって入った事だろう。
	When I arrive entrance of Auschwitz, I cant understand many flower shop in front of Auschwitz, now I get meaning, relative of victim visit Auschwitz will buy flower and offering here. 今でもメッセージと共に入り口に花を手向けていく人が絶えない。アウシュビッツ記念館の入り口近くにまで来た時に花屋がなぜ沢山あるのか判らなかったが門まで来て納得。

	Birkenau located 3km from Auschwitz, this free bus shuttle between two of it. This bus is a free bus that only goes back and forth between Auschwitz and Birkenau. On the way back, I asked my guide Isabella if she could drop me off near the station on the way back, but she said, "I will teach you the bus stop to go to Krakow near this Auschwitz bus stop." アウシュビッツ強制収容所から３ｋｍ程離れたビルケナウ強制収容所にバスで向かう。このバスはアウシュビッツとビルケナウ間を往復するだけの無料バス。帰りに途中の駅に近いところで降ろしてくれないかガイドのイザベラに聞いたが「クラクフに行くバスの乗り場を、このアウシュビッツのバス停近くで教える」と帰りは結局ここに戻ってきた。
	entrance of Birkenau I saw this entrance TV or picture. There is no exhibition hall in Birkenau, only the ruins of the past such as the homicidal gas room and the hut that housed it. ビルケナウ強制収容所の入り口、写真やＴＶで見たものの実物がこれだ！！。ビルケナウには展示館は無い、殺人ガス部屋や収容した小屋などの過去の遺跡があるだけ。
	In a cargo train. can not sit, no toilet, no water, no food maximum 10days, and get off this place, gas chamber locate before forest over there. People who have been swayed by a freight car for up to 10 days are unloaded and sorted here. Can you be killed or work? 	concrete toilet of asylum in the middle of this house, of course no toilet paper provided. これが収容者が使ったコンクリート製のトイレ、食料が極端に乏しいのでやせていてトイレの穴に落ちる人もいた。もちろん尻を拭く紙など支給されない。

	The bed shelves are so small that you can't sleep unless you hug each other. ベッドの棚は板一枚が一人分、お互いに抱きつかないと寝られない狭さ。
	equipped only 2 stove in this house but many big slot or hole between roof and wall. wall is only one plane wood, this area winter temperature is minus 15 degrees Celsius. 火が焚けるようになってはいるが隙間だらけの建付けの悪い板一枚の小屋で零下１５度の外気と接する木造小屋。
	The moment when all the tour participants take pictures while sighing ツアー参加者全員がため息をつきながら写真を取る瞬間。

	right side stair step is entrance of gas chamber. Nazi crushed by bomb before finished 2nd world war. シャワー室と偽って右端の階段から下に誘導される、写っているレンガ造りの部屋は皆が服を脱ぐように指示されて脱衣していた場所。

	many massages many nationality, and many language. I can read only English, there is no massage in Japanese, it means no Japanese victims. due to we are an ally. 各国語でメッセージがあるが私が唯一少し判るのは英語なので英語の前で黙祷。同盟国だからか日本人の犠牲者がいなかったようだ。日本語で書かれた慰霊碑は無かった。缶が置いてあるのはロウソクの缶

I have flowers and candles at the monument in my native language 殺された人の中にはロシアからの捕虜が何万人も、ジプシーや政治犯などユダヤ人以外もヨーロッパの広い地域から連れてこられたので慰霊する言葉が各国語で書かれていて皆さんは母国語の碑のところに花やロウソクを手向けている。

I waited bus Auschwitz to Krakow, also many people waited, after that 10 of Japanese arrive to wait bus , but when arrive bus 10 Japanese pushed other people, they used to push in there daily life, people arrived earlier can not get in the bus, I wanted complaint to Japanese. I assume as Japanese,
The bus returning to Krakow from the town of Oschensium, where Auschwitz and Birkenau are located, did not start the engine and took half an hour to repair, and arrived in the town of Krakow before 8 pm. A 20-year-old Polish woman who was present on the train when she went was taking time to start the engine, while she took a seat that was vacant for one person and sat near me "nice" "Seeing you again," she said. Next to me was a high school girl, she had no chance to talk because she was listening to music and e-mailing her on her cell phone, but when she arrived in Krakow she was hugging her boyfriend. アウシュビッツからのクラクフへの帰りのバスは様々な国から来た人々が待っていたが、後から日本人の男女若者の１０人程のグループが来てバス到着後には押し合いで後から来た彼らがバスに乗れたが先から待っていた他の人は乗れなかった。
無理やり乗り込もうとする様子は同じ日本人として恥ずかしかった。私はもう少しでブチ切れて「日本人としての恥を知れ」と日本語で怒鳴るところだった。中澤さんが案内する約束と言っていた日本人だったのかなぁ。
アウシュビッツやビルケナウのあるオッシェンシウムの町からクラクフに帰るバスはエンジンが掛からなくて修理に半時間、クラクフの町に着いたのは夜８時前だった。
行きの列車で同席した２０才位のポーランド女性はエンジンを掛けるのに手間取ってる間に一人分空いていた席に乗ってきて私の近くに座り「nice seeing you again」と声を掛け合った嬉しい偶然だが直ぐ隣でないので話は続けられなかった連絡先を聞くのに良い機会だったのだが残念。
私の隣は女子高生が、ipodを聞き携帯電話でメールをしていたので話す機会は全くなかったがクラクフに着いた時に彼氏が迎えに来ていて抱き合っていた。　ちきしょう！
