2012/12/31(Mon月) バスは早朝ラパス着、バスでチチカカ湖まで、ボートで太陽の島へ Arrive
Lapaz at morning、Going Titicaca lake IslaDelSol
ウユニからのバスは朝6時頃にラパスに到着、バスターミナルをうろちょろ探して、チチカカ湖畔のボリビア側の町コパカバーナまで行くバスを探す、
なるべく早いバスを探して、ここで長く待っても仕方ない、現地に着いても早い時間なら次の目的地を考える事もできるし。
We arrive Lapaz bus terminal early morning 5am, it is not necessary to
wait here long time,
we want to find bus start early time to Copacabana Titicaca lake.
バスターミナルでトイレを催したので2B払ってトイレに、便座がないので尻は浮かして済ませる、拭いた紙はゴミ箱に、でも俺はペットボトルの水で尻を洗うからすっきり、少々は水が散らかるが。
I paid 2B to get in toilet, I can not sit on it, after finish I washed
by water no use paper felling better.
プーノにも行きたいがとりあえず途中の町コパカバーナに向かう、クスコに行く前に１日位は日程に余裕があるはず。
I think we have enough time spent a day before Cusco, I want to go Puno but
we will go copacabana today.
価格の差より早く出発してくれる便を探す、ここは７時半発とあったのでここでチケットを購入、35B￥420-。
We find bus schedule start at 7:30 to copacabana.
でも旅行書にはすり等に注意とある。大人の悪知恵の働くグループが居るとあちこちで注意書きを見かけた。
例えば旅行者に声掛けられて警官が現れて巧妙に一緒に車乗せて、グルになった偽旅行者偽警官等である。
We saw many homeless in Lapaz bus terminal, age about more then 50's woman
and children less than 5 years.,
I had bread and butter which from aircraft I gave it all. I saw baby
in it sometimes,
miserable. situation, daytime and night time policeman walking but did
not complaint them, I was happy about it,
While I sit down and eating cookie at waiting room
native old woman asking something she bring her hand to her mouth
so I give three of cookie then she disappeared. any people did not
insist anything.
South America tour guide book said "watch out thief" and I saw warning many place many times while south America.
for example: other traveler ask to talk
then appear police and ask come together with them by car
then other traveller and police suddenly become gang of thief.
they are fake police fake traveller only try to attack to us. but foreigner can not realize before they attack as gang.

７時10分にチケット売り場に来いと言う指示と共にチケットは購入した、チケットにCopacabanaと書いてある。
Bought ticket with information that "come back here at
7:10"
バスの待合室、皆さんは誰もが厚い毛布持参。いやここの現地人の常識なのだろう.
Every body has thick blanket , this is common sense for traveller this
area.
バスから降りた旅行者が行きかうターミナル出入り口。
many back packer go in and out in this bus terminal.
ウユニに出かける前に見た景色だが、今日は曇っている、今日はバスに乗るだけだから雨が降っても構わないと、気にならない。左がバスターミナル、山の上まで家々が建っているボリビアのラパスなのだ。
We saw this view before going Uyuni, today is cloudy but I am not in mind weather
we will stay in bus all day today.
荷物の多いのは女の常だが、ここの女性は特別に全員が多い荷物の典型、商売の品物かも、ここでは仕方ないのだと思ってしまう。
This bus arrived from somewhere, all woman carrying big cargo, is there

チケット売り場に予定時間に集まってチケット販売したおばさんがここまで連れてきてくれたが・・・・帰っていった。

行き先のコパカバーナって書いてないぞ。無理やりつけたようなベンツのマーク、車体後ろにはベンツのマークはなかった。

入り口に居た係員と思しき人に「コパカバーナ」と言ったらシ〜と言っていた。イェスの事だよな〜。
I asked one of guys near entrance "copacabana" he said
"sie", sie meaning yes?
チケットに席番号は無いし、尋ねたら席は決まってない、と言ったようだった。バスはもう直ぐ出発するはず。
No seat number indicated on ticket. bus will start soon.
アルミの小さななべに入れたものを二人で食べていた、これは旅行者か？。ばあちゃんと孫くらいの年齢差.

バスターミナルの狭い出入り口を通ってバスは道路に出ようとしています。このバスは旅行者より現地の人たちの方が圧倒的に多かった。大晦日だから帰省客か買い物を町で終えて家に帰る人々かも？
Most of passenger is native people , not traveller in this bus..
バスターミナルの裏出口にはバスの乗客を当てにしてなのか小さな店が並んで、ここの店は俺たちは気づかなかったが。

ラパスの高速道路？。

ラパスの街からはしばらく走って、でも舗装されている。舗装されてないのはボリビアの南部だけなの？料金所のような建物が現れた。高速道路？

車の通る道路中央は舗装されているが両側は未舗装、朝はこの辺りは雨だったのか。

バスはどんどん飛ばすがバスの車体に無理やりつけたようなベンツのマークは本当にベンツのバス？
登りで速度が落ちてきたエンジンの馬力は足りねぇぞ。

登り坂になってくるとゆっくりになり苦しそうに走る、後ろを見なくても黒い煙を吐いて走ってると感じる、やはりベンツと違う？。

遠くには雪を抱いた山が見える。アンデス山脈の地帯を走っているのだ。

のどかな田舎だが、いつも自分がここで生活することになったらどないだろうと考えてしまう。

家々はあっても牧歌的だが暮らし向きはどないか？家の中が見えないのでバスで通過だけでは判らない

チチカカ湖畔をずいぶん長い間走っている。

外を歩いている人が少ない気がする、大晦日だから？。

沢山の羊の群れが道路を横断していてクラクションを鳴らしながらぶっ飛ばす運転手、羊のお尻がまだ見えるが羊飼いも道路を渡らせるのは大変。ここでは犬は使ってなくて全て人が羊を追っていた。

道は狭くなり軍隊色の男が手招きして車は右に・・・。別に車の中を検査しに入ってくる訳でなし、運転手は男と話した後は再び走り出す。

チチカカ湖には太陽の島以外にも島があるの？知識を全く持たないままチチカカ湖に向かう。
Is there another island except Isla del sol , we don't have any information.
バスは結構がんばって走っているのだが追い越して行く車。

とある港に着くと他の乗客は荷物を残したままバスを降りる、運転手に尋ねるがスペイン語ではまったく判らない、降りろと指示するので仕方なく降りたが・・・ドナイしたら良いの？。

, he can speak only Spanish, we can not communicate but he insist us to
get off here.
あちこち建物を見ながら他の乗客の皆について歩いて行く。俺たちゃどないすりゃ良いんだ？
I have no idea , what I will do here.we can do is only follow other

何のモニュメントなのか意味わからない、有料のトイレに入って考えよう。
I will go toilet and think what we will do.
考えが浮かばなかったのでやはりバスの乗客と思しき人達の後ろに付いて1.5B\18-払うとチケットを購入と言う事らしい、これで船に乗れと言う事？。他の乗客の後を追う。
I have no idea, we just follow other people and buy some of small
ticket paid 3B for two.and follow them again.
琵琶湖の12倍の面積のチチカカ湖wik 畔には小さな船や少し大きな船が停泊、バスも船に乗っている。

この船はバスなどを載せる台船、大きなバスを載せていてもエンジンは小さいのが２つだけ、乗客は降ろして別の船で運ぶのはライフジャケットの問題があるから？。

As if this area covered glacier ice long time ago when consider shape of

町に着いて町中に入ってきた狭い道路に露天と歩行者と自動車やバスも通行するコパカバーナ中心部。
Just arrived big city and go in city of copacabana.
さすがにこの道はバスは走らない。This road can not pass bus any more.
バスが通ったら店が道路に商品を出しているので歩行者も通れない、それでもバスは通る。

バスの旅は終わる、運転手は「コパカバーナ」と言って降りてしまった俺も降りる昼12時.

降りたところにあった旅行社、おばさんが一人で店番してるが英語が通じる、英語が全く通じなくて苦労してきた私はここで今夜の宿やこれからのルートとチケット等、出来ることは何でもしなきゃと強く思った。午後にプーノ行きのバスに乗っても良いが早くクスコに着いて何日も多くいても仕方ない、太陽の島に行って一泊できると一瞬で判断、太陽の島にはホテルは沢山あるか尋ねると「many many hotel」を繰り返すので信じて乗船券を買う、南の港か北の港か？「俺は観光客の少ない所に行きたい」と言ったら北の港だと二人で50B払ってチケットを購入、船の出港は13：30。
It was not easy to do anything without Spanish language in this country. ,
but tour agency here, mama can speak English so I decided have to finish
everything here for today and for tomorrow,
on our schedule it is not necessary to go Cusco so early maybe we have
enough day to spent one night around here,
anyway we wanted to go some of island in Titicaca lake to find cheap accommodation..
mama said "Isla del sol has many many hotel you can stay , there is
north port and south port which do you want",
I asked I don't want see many tourist which we should go, she answered
"go north", we bought ticket to north pier.. departure time is
13:30. ,
and we bought bus ticket to Puno for tomorrow. then we realized
we are hungry now.
今日の予定も決まってホッとして気が付いたら腹が減っていた、明日の午後プーノに行くバスのチケットも旅行社で買ったから町に出る、今日の船の出発まで時間あるし荷物は旅行社に置いたまま土産物屋を見て昼飯を済ませて・・・。
We fixed today's schedule, I feel hungry Tour agency keep our bags , and
go out to have lunch in down town of Copacabana we have time for boat to

露天の食べ物は手を出さないほうが良さそうだし、行く所がない、とりあえず教会に行ってみよう。

地震のニュースの度に崩れたビルの写真があるのは当たり前だよなぁと心の中で思った。

コパカバーナのけだるい夏の昼下がり。

港の近くなので雑貨屋や土産物屋、レストランが並ぶ。
many shop and restaurant near the harbor.
レストランに入ったが客も誰もいなくて誰も出てこなかったので近くにあった別のこのレストランに入りなおした、客がいる店なら応対してくれるだろう
no one took care of us in other restaurant so we changed this restaurant
because someone eating .
食事を終え、預けてある荷物を旅行社で受け取り、船の桟橋には早めに向かう。After lunch we pick up bags and go pier earlier.
今日は良い天気だし船の旅も大丈夫だ。 Nice weather nice trip on the sea on he boat..
港でチケットを見せると「お前はあっち」、先に行って更に別の男にチケットを見せると「お前はこっち」、言葉は全く通じない、
指で指示してくる、俺はどちらに行けば良いんだ？とりあえず後の方の指示に従う。
some of sailor said follow that line when he look my ticket, but other
sailor watch my ticket said follow this line this ship.
お前はあっちと言っていた方の列はあっちの船に乗りに行ったぞ、俺はここで良いのか？観光客も船の係員も英語は全く駄目。
People that line going another ship , Am I OK? no one speak english even passenger and or sailor.
とりあえず言われるまま船に乗り込んだ、海岸には水泳客の透明ボートが見える、暑いとは思わない気候なのに泳いでいる人が居るのが信じられない。
We just follow advice of guide or sailor, I don't feel hot but someone
swimming in this lake.

予定時刻を過ぎた13：35に船は出て行くコパカバーナ港。Started 13:35 port of Copacabana Lake Titicaca
赤シャツの男が船頭か。Red shirts is captain?
チチカカ湖はここから1時間半程の航程、
太陽の島が見えて高圧電線が陸側と渡っているのが見えた。

14：55に太陽の島の南港に到着、お前たちはここで降りるんだろと見ている左端の船頭、俺は北に行くんだと言うと「この船は南港までだ」と、
「いや俺は北港までと言って買ったチケットだ」と言うが乗客の全てのチケットを見せてくれて私の渡したチケットも他のチケットも同じような事が書いてある、
手書きの字は読めないが似てるかは判るし、他のチケットも同じ価格だった。チケットは間違ってないのは判った。
Arrived isla del sol south port "everybody get off this is south port"
I surprised this is wrong boat we should go north port.,
I said "my ticket is going north port I should go north"
captain said this boat is only for south,
"I paid for north" I said so captain confirmed and show me all the ticket.
I confirmed my ticket and other ticket it was same price same indication.. my ticket was only for south.
客はどんどん降りていく、「ホテルは見えないがどこにある」と尋ねたら
「山の上にある30分歩け」と高度の高いこの地で私は高山病と闘いながら歩きたくない。富士山で登りの苦しかった思い出のある私は
ここが富士山の山頂より高い事を忘れては駄目だと自覚。
I can not see hotel near port. so asked captain
"where is hotel" answered "top of hill , walk half hour",
but I did not forget this is high altitude 3800m I can not walk half hour.,
「俺はどうしても北港に行きたいんだ」と言ったらちょうど近くに北港に行く船が出港する所で、口笛を吹いて船を呼んでくれた。
I said again" I need to go north port, it is necessary to go north" captain said other boat will go north want to go ?
I said "Yes" he called other boat by mouth whistle.
while other boat arrive here captain said "need 20B each ", I try to find money in my pocket but find only 30B,
I checked other pocket find 100B, I give it all , but he know he
have to pay 90B as change but no money.
When arrive other boat I said " I give 130B OK?" in front of
other captain, finally he returned 100B it means he discounted 40B to 30B.
tourist agency sell ticket 2 for 50B to north, but 50B ticket should be
for south,
maybe she speaking english but don't know meaning of north/south., english
is foreign language for her.
北港に行く船が近くに来るまでに一人20ボリビアーノ追加だと言うのでポケットを探ったら30Bしかないが渡す、
更に探すと100Bあったからそれも渡したが相手もおつりが無い、おつりを払わないといけないのは判っている様だ、
船が横付けされたが130Bを渡したまま釣りが来ないので「私は130B渡したカラナ」と」念を押す、それを北港に行く船頭の居る所で言ったので、
100Bは私に返してくれて30Bを北港に行く船の船頭に渡してくれた。40Bを30Bに結果的に値切ったのだ。15：05出港
ここで船客に子供が多いのに気づいて子供たちに一個ずつ飴を配る、その後は写真も気持ちよく撮らせてくれて作戦成功。女性の帽子を貸してもらったりして笑いを誘ったがココではこのシルクハットタイプの帽子は女性が頭に乗せる物で男性ではないようだ、見ると男性はカウボーイハットしか見ない。笑うはずだ。
I find get on many children I give small candy to all the children and baby. and take many picture .I borrow her hat and wear it but many people rough, this hat should be
only woman. that's the reason they roughing.
生卵の向こうには飲料水とビールがケースに入って荷物満載の年末の買い物。
They loaded beer and refreshment other side of eggs.
えぇここが北港なの？尋ねると「お前はまだ降りなくて良い」と手で指示、
こんな所に降ろされても泊まる所が無くて困る。
北港に行けばちゃんとしたホテルが沢山あると思って安心してる私。

. I was believing many hotel in north port.
標高3818ｍの淡水湖なので牛が水を飲みに着ていても不思議ではない.
This lake is not salty so cow come to here for drinking water.
.Boat cruising again one hour, one of the guy bought beer loaded as cargo
paid to owner of beer, but it was not enough for them ,
guy bought again and again , totally drink 5 or more bottle. they asked
us to drink it together but not accepted,
I don't know why they are drinking include captain maybe today is last
day of the year. I can not confirm it because no one speak english
北の港に着いたようだ、乗客が降りる仕度を始める。
Arrive north port, preparing get off boat.
チチカカ湖には大きな船も運行しているようだが降りてきたのは桟橋の右側の小さな船、他の乗客は地元の人が正月の食料の買出しに出かけたので荷物が多い。
誰かが迎えに行かないと荷物を降ろせないし家まで持って帰れない。
Other passenger has many bags and cargo may be prepare for new year.in
every house.
港に看板はあるが太陽の島と書いてある以外は全く判らない我々には意味の無いスペイン語看板。
Find information but only Spanish we can understand only island of sun.
こちらの看板も理解できないので似たり寄ったり。一つの民家にhostelと小さく書いてあるが。旅行社のおばさんの言っていた「many
many hotel」はどこだ？

看板の地図を玉視して船が着いた港から真っ直ぐ行くと北側の海岸にでるらしい、５分程歩いたらこのビーチが
I read from map walk 5 minutes will reach north beach here..
Season of summer vacation this country now, usually European Spanish speaking
people can speak english too but people here can't speak english around
here.
トイレとシャワーは共同、6800ｗ電気温水器のシャワー、使っている最中に、中に人が居るのにドアの横にあるブレーカーを家人が通る度に切って行くのが困った。
彼らにとっては高額な電気代だろうし理解できるが使っている最中に切られると寒い大変困る、ブレーカーはシャワー室ドアのすぐ外にあったので私は裸のままドアを開けて濡れた手で恐る恐るブレーカーを再び入れ直すのだった200Vだろ感電したら恐ろしい。
Shower is electric power heating 6800w but when pass owner or other
people in front of shower/toilet will switch off every time even while
taking shower.
I understand it is not cheap price of electricity, but today is cold day
please do not cut off switch it is only short time.
シャワーを済ませてお腹が減って、ここって飯も食べられたよね、と2階のベランダから小さい字でホステルとRESTAURANT看板を確認。左上には若者達が湖畔にテントを張っている。
after take shower we feel hungry, we can eat here? we confirmed entrance
of this hostel.
レストランと称する居間の壁のポスター、バスから船に乗った左端のCOPACABANAコパカバーナ、現在は太陽の島のCHALLAPAMPAに居る、中央下の島が月の島
this is living room using as restaurant, we are in challapampa.

宿の中を「レストランは何処だ」と探すが何も無い、何とか宿の家族の居間と思しき部屋にはテーブルと椅子があったので入る。
we try to find in this hotel but there is no room for restaurant, find only living room table and chairs and refrigerator.
owner come in and explaining something in Spanish, he show picture of fish and pantomime as if boiling or fire roast it, if not raw fish it is OK for us, we ordered
We realized that time difference between Bolivia and Japan has almost 12
hour ,
so it is new year already in Japan we celebrate new year beer with my friend ,
It was take half hour to serve this plate but this fish trucha is delicious, price 35B\420us$5- and beer is 15B\180us$2.1-
チチカカ湖に生息する魚の案内があるが料理のメニューや飲み物のメニューは全く無い、客はスペイン語を話す客なら問題ないのか。料理が出てくるのに半時間ほど掛かったがマス科の魚Ｔｒｕｃｈａトゥルーチャは美味しかった。ビールは1本15B￥180-、料理は35B￥420-
In this restaurant don't have cooking menu, owner explain with picture of fish left one, can not communicate well . finally we ordered this plate as our dinner , Trucha fish 35B\420us$5- they can not understand "beer" but I find empty beer bottle in the room I pointed it. 15B\180us$2-/bottle
This three young people are university student and having new year vacation
come from santacruse city south part of Bolivia,
they stay another cheap hostel 25B/night and no restaurant ,
so they find indicate restaurant out side of this hotel ,
it was take long time to understand situation of them and each other, they
bring Bolivian wine and served us drink together.
今日の長い一日も何とか無事に乗り越えて終わった。いろいろあったが明日のためにぐっすり眠ろう。
